The Golf Centre is led by Head Professional Mark Strong and a team comprising of four Assistant Professionals and an assistant. The Golf Centre strives to raise the level of participation, appreciation and enjoyment of the game of golf at RCC among people of all ages and abilities.

Mark Strong, Head Golf Professional
Mark has lived in British Columbia his entire life, apart from one year as an exchange student in Japan. He started playing golf at the age of 14 in Prince Rupert, and began his early career in the golf industry while attending high school in Revelstoke. Whlie attending Simon Fraser University, Mark competed on the school's NAIA varsity golf team, before first joining the team at the Richmond Country Club in 2000. His passion for the game and business of golf grew over the next 9 years, when he then moved to the Vancouver GC for 4 seasons before returning to RCC in 2013. A competitive player at the national level, Mark also enjoys a passion for teaching and education. He was named the PGA of BC's Assistant Professional of the Year in 2008 & 2010, and Member of the Year in 2011.

Mike Cyndroski, Canadian PGA Assistant Professional
Mike hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and has been with RCC since 2006. The long-hitting left hander enjoys helping others improve their love of the game through teaching lessons and by developing junior golfers. He has spent countless hours infusing his skills and passion to others in this pursuit of giving back to the game. Mike is currently completing his final year of the Professional Golf Management Program and is a Level 4 CPGA Certified Instructor, as well as being certified by the RCGA on the Rules of Golf.

Chris Carmichael, Canadian PGA Assistant Professional Chris grew up in Toronto and has been living in Vancouver for the last 4 years. He started playing golf at the age of 10 while attending a hockey camp in Minnesota. After one round of golf he was hooked. Upon returning to Toronto he played golf everyday for the rest of the summer, becoming Junior Club Champion at Don Valley Golf Club within 2 years. Chris started working with Sean Foley at the age of 17 and won a golf scholarship with South Carolina State University. He played Division 1 golf in South Carolina in 2001, played golf for SFU in 2002 and then attended Humber College in the Professional Golf Management Program in Toronto in 2003. He turned professional in 2003 while living in Toronto and working at Copper Creek Golf Club. |

Andrew Chapman, Canadian PGA Assistant Professional Born in Langley, British Columbia, Andrew started playing golf at the Langley Golf Centre. By age 16, he had won a number of junior events and represented Canada at the Junior World's at Torrey Pines, California. As a multi-sport athlete, he won two scholarships in volleyball and golf with Douglas College and finished the Golf Management Business Program at Camosun College. |

Nick Anderson, Canadian PGA Assistant Professional Born in Ladner, British Columbia, Nick started playing golf at the age of 16 and by his senior year was named Captain of the Senior Golf Team. Nick played on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour for two years before enrolling in the Golf Management Program at Selkirk College. Upon completion of the two year program and many hours of diligent practice, Nick successfully passed his playing ability test in July 2011. |
